Where is Russ Carnahan and what has he accomplished?

Russ Carnahan has a name. But what else does he have? What has he accomplished during his term as Missouri 3rd District Congressman? Lets get together and sum it up.

Carnahan has been a terrible representative for the 3rd district and for Missouri. In the four years that he's been there, he hasn't done anything. He's tried to introduce 15 pieces of legislation and only 3 have ever made it out of committee. One renamed a post office in Kansas City and another was an earmark and built an arterial road in Jefferson County. Wow.

What about the workers at AB? Carlos Brito met with every other local and state leader; Kit Bond, Claire MaCaskill, Matt Blunt, Roy Blunt, Lacy Clay, Francis Slay and Jo Ann Emerson, but he never met with Carnahan. Why!? The brewery is in his district and those are supposed to be the people he represents. He should have been the first person Brito met with.

What about the workers at Chysler? I know he accepts the campaign contributions from the UAW, but what did he do to help save their jobs? Nothing! Did he ever try to introduce legislation that would create a FAIR playing field for our auto makers? No.

Did he ever speak out about how the Japanese government subsidizes every car made to the tune of $4000.00? No. Did he ever introduce legislation to remove the rules and regulations that have been levied against US auto manufacturers that would give us the competitive edge? No.

Has he done anything to help the black community and solve the AIDS epidemic that we have in our own backyard? No. Did you know that the city of St. Louis has the highest HIV infection rate per capita then any other city in the US? What has Carnahan done? He tried to introduce legislation that would take $300 million of our tax dollars and send it to Africa so the women over there can have access to birth control and abortions.

THIS IS NOT LEADERSHIP!
